Maschine now has a vacancy for a graphic designer to join the team of specialist graphic designers and web developers, based in Stafford, Staffordshire, West Midlands.
This role can be either on a Full-time, Part-time or Freelance basis.
The job Title is Graphic Designer. The role will involve graphic and web design from concept through to final artwork, working for corporate and business clients from all business sectors. With a strong focus on both the Automotive sector and the Education sector. Typical project will include, Graphic Design for Print, Web Design, Brochures, Logos, Corporate ID, Branding, Advertising, E-shots and E-Mail Campaigns, Direct Mail, Exhibition and Display
The vacancy requires skills / experience as follows;
• A Degree/HND or equivalent level of qualification in graphic design.
• Be able to demonstrate considerable experience in design for both print and web.
• Experience of Education or Automotive market sectors would be useful
• An interest in Cars, Motorcycles etc, would be an advantage.
• A creative thinker with design flair and accurate artworking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe CS4 applications, most importantly, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, in addition to QuarkXpress.
